Freshwater Family Medical Centre is a mixed billing medical practice and private fees may apply to consultations.
We bulk bill children under 16, Veteran Affairs, Pensioner and Commonwealth Senior Concession Card holders.
From 1 January 2026 for those patients with no concession card our standard consultation fee is $95 (Medicare Rebate $43.90) and $135 for a double appointment. A Medicare rebate can be claimed at the time of your visit via our EFTPOS machine. A Debit card is required for an instant claiming.
Please note higher fees may apply for some procedures and longer consultations.
Please note a cancellation fee of $45 will be charged for a missed appointment or a late cancellation unless it is rescheduled or cancelled at least 2 hours in advance or the day before if your appointment is early in the morning.
