Children's Health and Immunisations
Our doctors have extensive experience in assessing and treating children’s illness. We perform all necessary checks from birth as well as providing immunisations against most common preventative diseases.
Aged Care & Senior's Health
Our GPs provide the highest level of care for you to live independently for longer. They are experienced with issues such as incontinence, mobility, falls, or declining memory. Many assessments, treatments and medicines for older people are subsidised by the government. Just ask your GP.
Women's Health and Antenatal Care
We offer care and medical services for women at every stage in their life. Our GPs are here to help with contraception, cervical screening, sexual problems, pregnancy, ovarian cysts, period problems and menopause, as well as the insertion and removal of Implanon contraceptive devices. Our GPs provide antenatal care to improve the health and wellbeing of mum and baby from early on with support and guidance at every step of the way, including regular examinations, screening tests and ultrasounds.
Men's Health
Our doctors are experienced in treating a variety of men’s health issues including stress & anxiety, erectile & prostate problems, cholesterol, blood pressure, diabetes, as well as ordering blood tests, ECG, and X-rays when required for comprehensive reviews.
Home Visits
If you are a regular patient and you are unable to travel to the medical centre, your doctor may be able to visit you at your home. This is at the discretion of the doctor.
Travel Advice & Vaccinations
We offer a range of travel medicines and vaccinations, along with education and advice to minimise health risks while travelling. Medications and immunisations are provided to protect against potential serious diseases for at-risk travellers, including the prevention of malaria or altitude sickness, treatments for diarrhoea and allergies. Travellers should book an appointment with the doctor at least 6 weeks prior to traveling for advice about which vaccinations may be required.
Pathology On Site and Test Results
Some pathology samples are collected at our facilities and the results are discussed during your next consultation with your doctor. Please note that it is also your responsibility to follow up on your results.
Pharmacy Nearby
Freshwater Pharmacy is located at your convenience in our building. The pharmacy is open Mon – Fri 8am-7pm and Sat – Sun 9am-5pm.
Sexual Health
Our doctors provide advice and treatments for a wide range of sexual health related matters, including excessive or poor libido, discomfort during sex, erectile dysfunction, changes after childbirth and sexually transmitted infections. Any issues or concerns you may have are discussed with your sensitivity and confidentiality in mind.
Chronic Condition Management/ GP Management Plans
Your long term health and well-being is our priority. Should you have a chronic condition such as diabetes, hypertension, osteoporosis, arthritis, stroke, cancer and chronic pain, our doctors will provide comprehensive, long-term care plans tailored to your condition.
Psychology and Mental Health
Speak with our doctor if you are struggling with anxiety and stress, depression, low self-esteem or abuse and trauma. Our GPs can assess your condition and may provide you with therapy and treatment suited to your situation, as well as referring you to a psychologist. We have an on-site Mental Health Practitioner who specialises in relationship problems, depression, anxiety, stress, addiction and other mental issues.
