Freshwater Family Medical Centre is a mixed billing medical practice and private fees may apply to consultations.
We bulk bill children under 16, Veteran Affairs, Pensioner and Commonwealth Senior Concession Card holders.
For those patients with no concession card our standard consultation fee is currently $80. A Medicare rebate of $41.40 can be claimed at the time of your visit via our EFTPOS machine and it is recommended that you use a hard copy of a debit (EFTPOS) card.
Please note higher fees may apply for some procedures and longer consultations.
From 1 July 2024 our consultation fees will increase to $85 for a Standard consultation (Medicare rebate $41.40) and $130 for a double appointment (Medicare Rebate $80.10)
Please note a cancellation fee of $35 will be charged for a missed appointment or a late cancellation unless it is rescheduled or cancelled at least 2 hours in advance or the day before if your appointment is early in the morning.
